Scratches on my black file cabinets bothered me, especially since new ones appear frequently. Small scrathes on black paint are highly visible. This little touch-up pen does the job perfectly. Now I don't care about scratches accumulating. You don't have to live with them nor do you have to be a perfectionist.

When you use this pen to cover scratches of the nature I use mine for, you usually can't even find the scratch later. In places where scratches interrupted the smooth texture of the steel, it still covered them well. That's one thing good about going with black paint even if the bad side of black paint is that dust becomes more visible.

My review is limited to the use I described. I'd think for a motorcycle, this is good for small area scratches. Otherwise to make this solution work you might have to get more than one pen.

Finally, I didn't start my search using Amazon. Actually, I couldn't find a retail store that carried this item. That made me appreciate the convenience of ordering it online. Along the way I learned that people that use these swear by them as I do mine. You feel a lot better when little scracthes that draw attention are quickly hidden, and your stuff looks good again. It's so easy to apply.

I used the pen to touch up some black wood that had paint chipped off of it. The paint flowed from the pen easily for a convenient and fast fix! Just be careful at first, the paint comes out quick initially. Not hard to wipe up though as stated in the directions.
